Smash & Burn


EPOC Core

Martial Arts

Similar to EPOC Session, but more emphasis on core work with exercises such as planks on a Bosu, crunches with a medicine ball, or leg rotations. A high intensity interval training workout that will max your heart rate in a 60 minute session. Clients can use a MyZone belt to track their efforts and calories burned during the session. You won't use traditional cardio machines, instead this session includes bouts of cardio intervals done through exercises such as Mountain Climbers, Burpees, Planks, and more.

 

EPOC Strength

Racquetball

Strength and cardio built-in with multiple sets of strength training using adjustable dumbbells with an increased intensity. Also, develop the after burn effect as in EPOC, but now you're doing more toning and shredding. Clients can use a MyZone belt to track their efforts and calories burned during the session. You won't use traditional cardio machines, but do short, quick 20 bursts with a 10 second rest. Exercises include Jumping Jacks, Mountain Climbers, Skaters, Speed and Agility, etc.


EPOC Glutes

Racquetball

This EPOC Session has an emphasis on glutes! You'll be doing squats mixed with alternating kicks and lunges, and squats with pulses and overhead presses. Cardio done on traditional cardio machines, ex. treadmills, rowers, bicycle and ellipticals.  Clients can use a MyZone belt to track their efforts and calories burned during the session.  A high intensity interval training work out for 60 minutes will have all your muscles burning!

TRX & Kettlebells

Suspension training bodyweight exercises that develop strength, balance, flexibility and core strength simultaneously! Anyone can do it - you're in control of how much you want to challenege yourself by body position and adding/decreasing resistance. Kettlebells target almost every level of fitness - endurance, strength, balance, agility and cardio endurance!

What does it cost?

A class is as low as $10 per class. As a member you can purchase one class for $15, 10 classes for $120 and 20 classes for $200. Non-members can also participate.

What should I wear?

Dress to workout. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Bring water and a towel. For some of the classes you will be given a heart rate monitor to wear. We will need to know your height, weight and date of birth.

Who shouldn't take the class?

These classes are designed and modified for all fitness levels. As with any fitness program you should check with your doctor first, but you will need to get a doctors approval if you have a heart conditon or are on blood pressure medicine.
